Atelium LLC ("we," "us," "our") respects your privacy. This Policy explains what personal information we collect, why, who we share it with, and what rights you have.

It applies to atelium.co, our learning platform, and our programs and communications.

If you are in Washington or Nevada, or your information concerns your health, please also read our Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy at atelium.co/legal/health-data, which governs that information.

2. What We Collect

You give us:

Identity and contact — name, email, phone, postal address, country/state
Professional — credentials, licence type, practice area, years in practice, client volume, business stage (from applications and questionnaires)
Billing — billing address and the last four digits and type of your payment method. We never receive or store your full card number; our payment processor handles that.
Program participation — submissions, assignments, community posts, messages to us, attendance
Communications — what you write to us by email, chat, DM or on a call
Marketing preferences

We collect automatically: IP address, device and browser type, operating system, referring page, pages viewed, time and duration of visits, and interactions with our emails (opens, clicks) — through cookies and similar technologies (§5).

We receive from others: from payment processors (confirmation and limited details); from advertising and social platforms (aggregate campaign performance); from our learning and email platforms (engagement data).

What we do not want. Please do not send us health information about yourself or your clients. Client cases in our programs are submitted anonymized, and anonymized case material is not personal information.

We do not use your personal information to make decisions about you by automated means alone that produce legal or similarly significant effects.

4. Who We Share It With

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising in the sense of California law.

We share it with service providers who act for us under contract, only as needed:

We also disclose information where required by law or legal process, to protect our rights, safety or property, and in connection with a merger, acquisition or sale of assets — in which case we will notify you.

5. Cookies and Tracking

atelium.co currently uses essential cookies only — those needed for the site to work. We do not use analytics or advertising cookies or pixels on this website.

If that changes, we will update this Policy first and, where required, ask for your consent before setting non-essential cookies. You can also block cookies in your browser, though parts of the site may stop working. We honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals as an opt-out of sale/sharing where applicable.

6. How Long We Keep It

We then delete or irreversibly anonymize it, unless a longer period is required by law or needed to establish, exercise or defend a legal claim.

7. Security

We use access controls, unique credentials, encryption in transit, and limit access to what is needed. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. Tell us immediately at info@atelium.co if you believe your account has been compromised.

8. Children

The Site and our programs are for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe we have, contact us and we will delete it.

9. Your Rights

9.1 Everyone

You may ask us to give you a copy of your information; correct it; delete it; stop or limit how we use it; or send it to you or another provider in a portable format. You may object to our using it for direct marketing at any time — unconditionally. You may unsubscribe from marketing emails using the link in any email.

9.2 How to Exercise Them

Email info@atelium.co with enough information for us to identify you and what you want. We respond within 45 days (extendable once by 45 days, with notice) or within one month under GDPR. We may need to verify your identity; we will ask for the minimum necessary — not a copy of your passport or a utility bill unless there is no alternative.

We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.

9.3 Appeals

If we decline your request, you may appeal by replying to our decision. We will respond within 60 days. If we deny the appeal, we will tell you how to complain to your state Attorney General.

9.4 California

If you are a California resident, you have the rights above under the CCPA/CPRA, plus the right to know the categories of information collected, the sources, the purposes, and the categories of third parties we disclose to — all set out in §§2–4. We do not sell or share your personal information as those terms are defined, and we have not in the preceding twelve months. We do not use or disclose sensitive personal information beyond the purposes permitted without further notice. You may use an authorized agent.

9.5 Texas and Other US States

If you are a resident of Texas, or of another state with a comprehensive privacy law, you have the rights in §9.1 and the appeal right in §9.3. We do not sell personal data or process it for targeted advertising without consent where your state requires it.

9.6 European Economic Area, United Kingdom and Switzerland

Our lawful bases are in §3. In addition:

Where we rely on consent, you may withdraw it at any time, without affecting processing already carried out.
International transfers. We are in the United States, so your information is transferred there. Where required, we rely on the EU Standard Contractual Clauses and, where applicable, the UK Addendum, together with supplementary measures. You may request a copy of the safeguards.
Complaints. You may complain to your supervisory authority. In Germany, that is the authority of your federal state; in Austria, the Datenschutzbehörde; in Switzerland, the FDPIC. We would appreciate the chance to address it first.

10. Changes

We will update the date above and, where changes are material, notify you by email or by a notice on the Site before they take effect.
